Transport from the airport to the venue:

 One option is to take a taxi. The price to the Academic Hostel (9.2km) should be around 8-12 EUR.

Public transport:

Bus No. 90K Tallinn Airport - City Centre

(There is wireless internet access on the bus, free of charge.)

Tickets are sold on the bus for 2 EUR.

Bus No. 2 is similar is another option and it is a part of the Tallinn Public Transport system

Once you are in the city centre you can take a trolleybus  No. 3 from the “Kaubamaja” stop to the “Keemia” stop.

Venue:

 The campus of Tallinn University of Technology in located in the Mustamäe area which is the south-west part of Tallinn.

The Summer School will take place in these two auditoriums:

June 2: X-209 (Building X of Tallinn University of Technology), Akadeemia tee 3, Tallinn, ESTONIA (map)
June 3: VII-226 (an adjacent Building VII of TUT)

 

The Academic Hostel is located just 300 meters from these university buildings.

Social activities (pub on Thursday, downtown and Old Town):

 On Thursday evening you are invited to the Scotland Yard Pub. The party starts at 19:00. The pub is located in the downtown (Mere pst. 6E, Tallinn) next to the eastern border of the Old Town.  You can reach it by using the trolleybus No. 3. Starting from the “Keemia” stop go until the last stop which is “Kaubamaja”.  Then you have to walk some 300 meters to the north.

 If you stay for the Tallinn Old Town Days social activity or just want to go to the downtown in your spare time a faster way to access the Old Town is to get off one stop earlier at the “Vabaduse väljak” stop.
